A Group of Friends was founded when three friends left a kinship that had become unwelcoming after its founder passed away. They chose a name that perfectly captured their identity: simply, a group of friends.
Though they initially did not intend to expand, word quickly spread and old friends from their former kinship began to join. Wanting to recapture the “family” environment that they once enjoyed, the friends agreed on a charter designed to ensure that their kinship would remain welcoming, supportive and stress-free, even in the event of a leadership change.
